Airport Ground Travel Plan

Sydney Airport is Australia's most significant piece of transport infrastructure, handling around 30 million passengers a year and half of all air cargo. Unsurprisingly, it is also one of the most important economic assets in New South Wales, providing direct and indirect employment for over 150,000 people. Anchoring Australia's only Global City, it lies in an increasingly congested corridor of high value employment centres and rapidly growing residential precincts.

Within this context, the Airport Ground Travel Plan is the first major ground transport statement from an Australian airport to address the issue of sustainable access for passengers and staff.
