If you are travelling to or from Sydney Airport, here are some tips to help make your journey more comfortable.

Check in Tips
Below is a list of tips to make your journey through the airport comfortable and enjoyable.

• Jetstar check-in is opened 2 hours prior to flight departure and will close 1/2 hour before departure
• Virgin Blue check-in is opened at 0500 for flights and will close 15 minutes before departure.  You may check-in at any time during the day for an afternoon / evening departure.
• REX open check-in at 0530 and will close 20 minutes before departure.
• Aeropelican open check-in 1 hour before departure and will close 20 minutes before departure.
• Check that you have all relevant travel documentation including photo ID.
• Ensure you do not exceed your baggage allowance.
• Once you arrive at the terminal, look for check-in counters for the revelant airline on which you are travelling.
• Additional security measures require you to pack any sharp items in your checked baggage. Sharp items identified at screening will be confiscated.
• Passenger special needs must be communicated to your airline in advance, ideally at the time of flight booking.
