Safety is Sydney Airport’s highest priority. Today we note the preliminary findings released by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) in relation to recent runway incursions.

We will continue to support the Minister and Airservices as they work through the preliminary findings and the appropriate actions.

Sydney Airport notes Minister Catherine King's comments that Civil Aviation Safety Authority CEO and Director of Aviation Safety Pip Spence considers Australia's aviation system and Sydney Airport to remain safe.

We await the final reports and any recommendations arising from the ATSB’s investigations.
