As football fans across Australia prepare for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico, Sydney Airport will play a key role in connecting travellers to the world's biggest sporting tournament.
As Australia's leading international gateway to North America, Sydney Airport offers extensive connectivity to major host city gateways including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, Vancouver, Toronto and New York, helping travellers access key destinations across the tournament.
During June and July, Sydney Airport will offer an average of 80 weekly services to North American destinations, including Honolulu. Of these, 69 weekly services operate to World Cup host cities, supported by five airline partners serving host city destinations and six carriers operating across Sydney's broader North American network.
